SYNOPSIS:
Facing another Christmas alone, Drew Latham (Ben Affleck) decides to recreate an idyllic Christmas at home with his family. However when he travels back home he discovers that the people living there now are not his family. But desperate to have a traditional holiday with the family, even if it's not his actual family, Drew pays these complete strangers a small fortune to let him spend the holidays with them. However, when the family's eldest daughter Alicia (Christina Applegate) comes home for Christmas; she doesn't appreciate the fact that she now has an 'adopted brother'.
