SYNOPSIS:
Jack Black stars as Ignacio (Nacho to his friends), a Mexican priest from the small town of Oaxaca. When his orphanage faces financial ruin, Nacho starts to moonlight as a lucha libre wrestler in order to raise the money needed. Naturally, Nacho's motives aren't purely altruistic. He wants to wear stretchy pants,he wants fans to shower him with daisies, he wants to rip his blouse while everyone shouts his name and he wants to invite Sister Encarnacion (Ana de la Reguera) to his chamber... for some toast. Get ready to rumble this summer!
Jared Hess, the man responsible for writing and directing "Napoleon Dynamite", fulfilled the same role here, co-writing with Mike White who wrote for Jack Black on "School of Rock". The movie was filmed on location in Oaxaca, Mexico.
