SYNOPSIS:
There was a time when Lazarus (Samuel L. Jackson) played the blues. Now he is living them. A broken man after a disastrous marriage to a cheating wife;Lazarus lives in a dream world fuelled with contempt.
Lazarus' life changes when he encounters for wayward Rae (Christina Ricci) half naked and alone. A god fearing man, Lazarus sets out to save the soul of this wayward woman and in doing so finds redemption for his own bruised heart.
