SYNOPSIS:
Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell) is San Diego's top anchorman in the 70s. Life is good for Ron. He has the respect of a nation, the admiration and lust of many beautiful women and perfectly coiffed hair. But all this and more is jeopardised when a new newswoman Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) marches into the newsroom. At first Ron is willing to play along but when Veronica demands to equate to more than just eye-candy and his position as anchorman is threatened, he declares war on the object of everyone's desire.
