No Country for Old Men - Unstoppable Success
No Country for Old Men, has proven virtually unstoppable throughout this year's awards season with key wins at the PGA, DGA, WGA and SAG Awards, as well as the Golden Globes and the BAFTAs, walked away with four Oscars, the most of the night.
NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN was crowned Best Picture, which producer Scott Rudin accepted alongside the Coen Brothers, Joel and Ethan. The Brothers also received awards for Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay. Javier Bardem (pictured above left) also continued his run of wins taking Best Supporting Actor for his role as Anton Chigurh in the movie.
Personally receiving three Oscars apiece as producers, directors and screenwriters of NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN the Coens joined an elite company of people who have received three Oscars for a single film, joining Francis Ford Coppola (THE GODFATHER, PART II), Billy Wilder (THE APARTMENT) and James Cameron (TITANIC).
